Conflict Trends 2009/4

ACCORD Reports

ACCORD’s Angola Intervention will be conducting a four-day Training of Trainers (ToT) course in the Huambo province of Angola from 19-22 November 2007. In October 2006, and February and July 2007, the Angola Intervention conducted advanced conflict management trainings for civil society in Angola.

Future potential trainers were identified from these trainings and twenty key civil society members were selected to participate in the upcoming ToT.

The purpose of the ToT is to take participants through a refresher course in basic and advanced conflict management as well as to impart training skills, enabling them to become future trainers and replicate their skills throughout the country. ACCORD will remain available to guide the newly trained trainers in their future conflict management and peace building training activities.
