Capacity Building
The Knowledge Production Department facilitates various staff capacity building initiatives.
Capacity Building refers to in-house initiatives to build on employee’s skills and develop their knowledge and capabilities within the organisation in order to support the development of the institution’s overall capacity.

Such initiatives vary from time to time, but have included internal staff seminars on topical peace and conflict issues; research presentations; and research and writing workshops. We like to give our staff the opportunity to attend and participate in conferences and to visit local museums and exhibitions.
Capacity Building also includes the recruitment of Research Interns, Junior Fellows and Senior Research Fellows to simultaneously assist individuals in developing their research and writing skills, while supporting the research capacity and research agenda of the organisation.
