Camilla has co-authored several articles, including Filling the gap: How civil society engagement can help the UN’s Peacebuilding Architecture meet its purpose and Preventing sexual violence, published in Forced Migration Review 36.
Camilla Campisi joined QUNO in 2010 and focuses on peacebuilding and the inclusion of local perspectives at the UN. Prior to QUNO, she was an Advocate working on displacement issues in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Myanmar with Refugees International (RI), based in Washington, DC. Before joining RI, she was the Field Relations Manager for InterExchange Au Pair USA, a nonprofit cultural exchange program. Camilla also has experience working on refugee resettlement with the International Organisation for Migration in Geneva and the International Rescue Committee. Camilla has a Bachelor’s degree in French from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
