Intern: Peacemaking Unit
Tapiwa Munjoma is an intern in the Peacemaking unit. He joined ACCORD in March 2013 and his responsibilities include assisting the Peacemaking Unit with tracking, monitoring and analysing conflict situations in Africa; technical and logistical preparations for upcoming events in the Unit, assisting with the setting up and managing of a mediation network as well as conducting various research activities.
Tapiwa has an enormous interest in the fields of political science, international relations, conflict resolution, peace and security, foreign affairs, human rights and public policy. He is also interested in research work and his main area of focus is contemporary African politics. Tapiwa holds a BSoc Sci in Political Science and History from the University of KwaZulu Natal and a BSoc Sci Honors in International Relations from the same university. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Political Science.
