Anicet NDIKURIYO joined ACCORD in September 2010 as the Finance and Administration Agent (FAA) in ACCORD's Burundi office.

A registered Member of the Burundi Professional Account Order (OPC), Anicet is a graduate of the University of Burundi, where he obtained his Professional Diploma in Business Management. He also holds his DESS in Accounting and Finance (equivalent to a BA in Accounting and Finance) from the Superior Institute of Management of Burundi.

Anicet began his professional career in a Medical Clinic (PRECUDOM) in January 1995, where he served as the Finance and administration Officer for ten months before he moved to the National Chemistry Company of Burundi (ONAPHA) where he worked as the customers account from 1996 to 1999.

In September 1999 to March 2003, he worked for the Burundian Society for Petroleum Commercialization (SOBUCOP SA) as the Finance and Administration Officer.

From March 2003, Anicet worked with Trauma Healing and Reconciliation Services (THARS), a local NGO that deals with trauma healing, conflict mitigation, memory healing, mental heath assistance and community development programs. His experience with THARS increased his motivation and desire to work with civil society towards the promotion of a harmonized society where people are cared for as part of their commitment to build a peaceful Africa regardless to their differences. While keeping close links with THARS as the Finance Resource Person, he worked for Radio Isanganiro as the Finance and Administration Office from 3 December 2007 to 31 July 2010. Radio Isanganiro is a Local and associative station whose mission is to promote dialogue and reconciliation in the Great Lakes Region for the Burundian Diaspora.

Before joining ACCORD, Anicet worked with the Belgium Technical Cooperation as the Finance and Administrative Officer responsible for the "Pavage Programme".

He is delighted to join ACCORD and be part of a team that is contributing towards peace building in Burundi and Africa.
