ACCORD presents on Central African Republic’s Peace Agreement at UN Women workshop in Bangui

Strengthening participants' sensitivity to the content of the February 2019 Political Accord for Peace and Reconciliation in CAR.

From 14-16 October 2019, ACCORD contributed to a three-day workshop for 300 young and mostly female Central Africans. The workshop was geared towards increasing dialogue between women leaders and young women and men in the Central African Republic (CAR). The workshop also strengthened the participants sensitivity to the content of the Political Accord for Peace and Reconciliation in the Central African Republic (APPR-CAR) that was signed in February 2019.

The work workshop organized by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Government of Canada and was held at Oubangui Hotel, Bangui.
