Zimbabwe-based CPIA visit ACCORD

On 7 and 8 May the Director of Operations from the Centre for Peace Initiatives in Africa (CPIA), Rev. Max Chigwida, visited ACCORD House accompanied by Petronella Mapfiro, the CPIA’s Culture of Peace Programme Officer and Executive Assistant.

The CPIA is a Zimbabwe based civil society organization and is currently involved in the National Dialogue Process in Zimbabwe, aimed at arriving at a peaceful settlement to the current challenges the country is facing. In 2005 Ms Mapfiro was sent by CPAI to undertake a short internship at ACCORD and the Executive Director of CPAI, Leonard Kapungu, attended ACCORD’s 2006 Africa Peace Award.
