Abdullahi Rage

Peace, Security and Development Early Career Fellow at the African Leadership Centre, King’s College

Mr Abdullahi Rage is a Peace, Security and Development Fellow at the African Leadership Centre, King’s College London. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Development with Honours from King’s College London and has recently completed a Master’s Degree in Security, Leadership and Society at the African Leadership Centre (ALC), King’s College London. He is the Co-Founder and Member Board of Trustees of Somali Development Organisation, a small UK-registered, non-profit and non-governmental humanitarian organisation that helps local communities in Somalia tackle poverty, particularly, through the advancement of education. His research interests, which originate from his personal experience of civil war in Somalia, are embedded in peace, security, and development, particularly in post-conflict countries. His career interests are in the fields of peacebuilding, state-building, governance, and state-society relations.
