Intern: Global Peace
Noah Block

Noah Block is an intern with the Global Peace initiative at ACCORD, as part of his Bachelor of Arts degree. He is majoring in American Studies with a concentration in Society and Politics at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. He is originally from California. Previously, he served as the Lead Trainer and Youth Advocate for the YMCA of San Francisco’s Youth Court, a peer-to-peer youth alternative justice programme. The Youth Court established the Block Award in 2017 in recognition of Noah’s service, which annually recognises youth leaders in the movement. He was recently honoured as a national finalist for the Helen Diller Tikkun Olam Award, given to youth who have worked to “repair the world.”
