Mbalenhle Olive Qwabe is an intern within the Operations Research Division at ACCORD.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Political Science and Law, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Political Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where she was awarded a Certificate of Merit for her Honours research dissertation, which examined the impact of electoral processes on voter participation in South Africa and Nigeria.
Driven by a commitment to research and its power to inform meaningful change, Mbalenhle is passionate about democratic governance, political participation, peacebuilding and socio-economic development. She is eager to grow as a researcher dedicated to contributing to the advancement of development across the African continent and beyond.
