Research project highlighting the ability of African-led missions to contribute to critical security and post-conflict issues.

ACCORD in partnership with Rand Corporation has launched a new research study on Peace Support Operations mandated by the African Union (AU). The study will highlight the ability of the African-led missions to contribute to critical post-conflict and security issues such as the mitigation of humanitarian challenges, the creation of democratic institutions, and economic development. The study will focus on the following case studies, namely Burundi, Central African Republic, Comoros, Mali, Somalia and Sudan.
