Adam Azzain Mohamed

Dr Mohamed has obtained his Ph.D. in Political Science at Florida State University in 1981. FromĀ 1988 to 1991 he was Assistant Professor at the Omdurman Islamic University. Since 1991 he has been working in the Department of Political Science at the University of Khartoum, first as Assistant Professor and since 1998 as Associate Professor. From 2000 he also serves as Head of the Department of African and Asian Studies. He has been involved, both as co-ordinator and as symposium organiser, in the Tribal Conflicts and Conflict Resolutions Project, under the auspices of the Institute of African and Asian Studies at the University of Khartoum and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Bonn.
