Daisuke Akimoto

Dr Daisuke Akimoto is former Assistant Professor at Soka University Peace Research Institute. He obtained a Ph.D. in Asian Studies and International Relations from the University of Western Sydney, an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Sydney, and a B.A. in Humanities from Soka University, Japan. He is the author of Japan as a Global Pacifist State (Peter Lang 2013) and a co-author of Chapter 9 of New Approaches to Human Security in the Asia-Pacific (Ashgate 2013).
