Genevieve Manise is an intern for the Programmes Department at ACCORD. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Comparative Politics, Economics, and Social Systems at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining ACCORD, she worked as an administrative assistant at the Humanitarian Action Initiative and interned at the Global Campaign for Education-US. She is a recipient of the U.S. Department of State’s Critical Language Scholarship for the Turkish programme and the U.S. Department of State’s Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Abroad programme taking place in Türkiye. She is curious about the intersection of peacemaking, diplomacy, art, humanitarian aid and government.
