Mahlet Hagos is a Programme Officer in ACCORD’s Programmes Unit. Her work focuses on supporting the Local and National Capacities Programme, aimed at enhancing multi-dimensional approaches to complex conflicts.
Before joining ACCORD, Mahlet worked with the British Embassy in Addis Ababa and GIZ, where she worked on public diplomacy and portfolio management.
She holds a Joint Master of Arts in Global Studies, with a special emphasis on Peace and Security in Africa, from the University of Leipzig and the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS). She also holds a Master of Arts in Project Management and Finance from Jimma University.
