Martha was promoted to Senior Programme Officer in the Peacebuilding Unit on 1 July 2010. She was with ACCORD from September 2006, first as a Programme Officer for the Angola and Burundi Programmes, then as a Programme Officer for the Interventions Department and thereafter as a Programme Officer in the Peacebuilding Unit. Her promotion to Senior Programme Officer led to an 8 month secondment to the Burundi programme, which started officially on 1 August 2010.
