Philip Attuquayefio coordinates the African Union Commission’s support for the implementation of the Lake Chad Basin Stabilization Strategy. Prior to joining the African Union Commission as a seconded staff from NORCAP, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy at the University of Ghana, Legon. Philip has extensive experience in research, tertiary-level teaching and knowledge management on issues relating to peace and security in Africa. He has also designed and facilitated a number of training modules on Human Security Management in Africa, Countering Violent Extremism and Humanitarian Development and Peace (HDP) Nexus among others.
