Rui Saraiva is a research fellow in the Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Support Team, JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development, Japan. He obtained his Ph.D. in international public policy from Osaka University, Japan, his master’s degree in political science and international relations from NOVA University of Lisbon, Portugal and his bachelor’s degree in international relations from Lusíada University of Lisbon, Portugal
