Vandy Kanyako

Dr Vandy Kanyako is a peacebuilding practitioner with more than eight years of experience working with local and international organisations and civil society networks in Africa, Europe and the United States. Dr Kanyako is the founder, and former Executive Director, of Peace-Links, a Sierra Leonean NGO that uses a combination of traditional and mainstream techniques in the rehabilitation and reintegration of ex-combatants. He holds a PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University in Virginia, USA, where he is currently an Adjunct Professor.
