From the 24th of May to the 4th of June 2021, ACCORD/TfP attended the African Standby Force (ASF) Civilian Foundation Course (CFC) pilot training that was hosted by the Kofi



Workforce Planning Exercise to develop recommendations for responding to challenges faced by regional ASC officers.

Supporting the ASF exercises conducted to maintain operational readiness and fitness for operations deployments.

As the current Chair of the African Peace Support Trainers Association, ACCORD assists in drafting the association’s 2019 Work Plan.

Meetings bringing together AU Regional Economic Communities, Regional Mechanisms and Training Institutions to identify civilian issues in Peace Support Operations.

Bringing together key decision-makers at the Continental and Regional Planning Elements levels to coordinate and harmonise training activities.

Improving sustainable peace support capacity by improving peacekeepers’ knowledge, behaviour, conduct, discipline, planning and management skills.
