Xanthe is a Research Intern at ACCORD, having joined in October 2025, and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Security Studies at the University of Pretoria. Her Masters research analyses state reactions to external violations of International Humanitarian Law (IHL), using both South Africa and the United States’ reactions to IHL violations during the Israel-Gaza war as case studies.
