ACCORD invited to present content of 2019 Political Accord for Peace and Reconciliation Agreement in CAR to EU Delegation in Bangui

ACCORD's Head of its Central African Republic (CAR) programme, Ambassador Sebastien Ntahuga, presents the content and challenges to the implementation of the 2019 Political Accord for Peace and Reconciliation Agreement in CAR to the Staff of the European Union's Delegation, 29 August 2019, Bangui.

Ambassador Isopi welcomed ACCORD and as a key partner with experience and insight that will assist the European Union’s Delegation.

On 29 August, ACCORD was invited by the Head of the European Union’s Delegation (EUD) in Bangui, H.E. Ambassador Samuela Isopi, to present and orientate the EUD staff on the content and challenges associated with the implementation of the 2019 Political Accord for Peace and Reconciliation Agreement in the Central African Republic (APPR-CAR).

Ambassador Isopi welcomed ACCORD and as a key partner, with the experience and keen insights that will assist the EUD in their day-to-day activities regarding the European Union’s (EU) support of the APPR-CAR’s implementation. ACCORD is currently collaborating with the EU in CAR on an 18-month programme with the overall objective to provide support to increase and strengthen the capacity of the CAR Government, Regional Inter-governmental organisations and Local and National stakeholders engaged in the peace negotiations and peace agreement implementation.
