On 02 May 2025 the ACCORD’s Founder and Executive Director, Dr Vasu Gounden served as the keynote speaker at the Rotary District 9370 (South Africa and Lesotho) Conference held in Durban, South Africa, from 02 – 04 May 2025. Dr Gounden made a presentation on the Future of Peace. The Conference gathered Rotarians, community leaders, and dignitaries to reflect on their collective efforts and inspire future service. The theme of this year’s conference focuses on Peace and Conflict Resolution. The theme resonates with the Rotary Peace Centres programme, which envisions a world of sustainable peace through a network of dedicated peacebuilders and community leaders working to prevent and resolve conflicts globally.
