Combatting violence during COVID-19

Coffee with ACCORD is a video podcast series in which a diverse range of experts and practitioners are interviewed on a variety of topical African peace and security issues... one more way ACCORD is facilitating the sharing of African knowledge and experience.

In this episode of Coffee with ACCORD we speak to Rose Mbone, a community activist, mobiliser, and founder of The Legend Kenya, a community based organization which coordinates trauma awareness and resilience campaigns. Rose speaks to the increasing forms of violence in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and how her organization is working to combat this violence in Kenya, as well as the impact an increase in violence has had on youth development at the community level.
