In this seventh episode of Coffee with ACCORD, we speak to the esteemed South Sudanese mediator and legal practitioner, Dr Aleu Garang, Head of the Mission of IGAD to the Republic of South Sudan, and Former Director of the IGAD Mediation Support Unit (MSU). Dr Garang speaks to us about his journey to becoming a mediator, the development of MSU’s within the regional economic communities, African ownership of peacemaking initiatives, and much more.
